SUMMER OF THE ROMPER
Memorial Day brings us Romper #1

Forever 21 Romper purchase at Buffalo Exhange in Dallas

Twenty One** via Buffalo Exchange/Dallas for $12.00.
This is a solid piece of clothing.
Medium-weight linen with pockets and a built in support system in the bust
like I’ve never actually experienced before.
The straps are attached by buttons,
so they can be worn traditional front to back, crisscrossed or strapless.
or! Today I tied them up behind my neck :

romper straps tied at neck

‘cause I was feeling a bathing beauty vibe.

Also pictured is a $.99 thrifted red belt,
$2.99 thrifted vintage Bottega Veneta purse
and Lela Rose for Payless flats.

**Okay, so F21 is a bit of a shitty corporate company that I feel some guilt about supporting. I rarely buy direct from the store, but sometimes do. It’s so damn cheap and some pieces are just out-of-sight amazing for the price point. How do they do it? Oh, the usual…overseas sweatshops, abusing illegal immigrant labor stateside, stealing designs from big and small designers all while being evangelical christians, of course! Argh. With this and similar issues like Walmart, humanely raised animal products, etc - I wish that we had regulations in place so the option to buy blood-products just wasn’t there. But, we don’t. So, we all just have to do the best we can.
