They hadn’t been put on the correct rack, yet, and were just a hangin’ about for filing.
Fabric caught my eye immediately and I snatched them up.
Then saw what they were : MINT condish late 60s/early 70s Givenchy pants
and proceeded to pray & beg the gods to let them fit me.
They are on point for the current spring high-waisted, wide-legged pant trend.
But so chic they will always be badass.
These pants are what current high end designers are recreating right now.
But ORIGINAL. *swoon*
In the dressing room : “I can lose a few pounds…for THESE pants.”
Yeah, right. Here I am modeling them with sucked in gut and spanx.
I will never be a size 2/4 unless I starve myself and work out incessantly, which I have no interest in doing.
I’m comfy with my body and am not striving to be a size that causes me strife.
So!
The next battle in my head, as they sat in my closet for a bit…
Do I keep for “collecting purposes” (omg what is HAPPENING TO ME) or sell?
I decided I would put them on ebay at a price I see established vintage retailers selling similiar items for : $175.
If the right person comes along, awesome. If not - oh darn, I will keep them.

Soft, comfy fabric that doesn’t really wrinkle (what the?!) and has a touch of sheen
And did I mention they are lined from waist to hem with navy “Givency” lining?!
