going once, going twice
Some great new contributors have been added over the past week including Kings of Leon, Feist, The Black Keys, Neil Gaiman and the cast of Parks and Recreation.
All proceeds go to Paul Haggis’s Haiti foundation, whose overhead is covered,
so 100% of proceeds go directly to Haiti.
About a year ago, Mr. Haggis met a priest in Port-Au-Prince who has been working there for 22 years. When Father Frechette originally arrived, he realized the need for a doctor was greater than the need for a priest. So, he got his medical degree and has since opened schools, an orphanage and free hospitals.
Artists For Peace and Justice was founded by Mr. Haggis to support Father Frechette’s work.
Long story short - great stuff! great cause!
