I’ve been spending an average of about $10/week.
One man’s trash is another man’s treasure and all.
Sunday night, in my building, 3 good lookin’ rugs were left out for trash.
The residents moved out and just left them.
They were big and I was too tired to haul them to my place at midnight (would have put them on CL for dirt cheap), but hopefully the trash guys didn’t throw them away to decompose in a landfill for 100 years.
I wish we, as a society, would get more into the trade/donate/recycle idea.
It really is a win-win concept that takes little effort.
