Morgan Hendry of Beware of Safety and NASA just released his first solo record under the moniker The Laterite Road.
Several years ago he sent me a demo and I recorded ON THE RUN.
Lots of vocal takes were sent back to him and poof! here. now. An awesome track.

I had been living in Portland for about 4 months and met a guy named Bill who, in retrospect, was a little cuhraaaazy.
I fell for him hard and he would text & call me multiple times daily and organize really thoughtful dates.
But then when we were together would treat me awfully.
Belittling, Demeaning, Condescending.
Then turn on the super sweet and awesome, remotely.
Obviously an emotionally manipulative (and abusive) situation.
I wrote this song then.
And don’t worry I kicked him the fuck out real quick.

I’m blown away by Morgan’s production and I love hearing all the vocal layers.
The record is really cool. Mostly instrumental. He tags it with :
ambient atmospheric dubstep electronica industrial orchestral progressive Los Angeles

You can get One Step Closer To The End at Band Camp for 5 big ones.
