Had to do big hair (slept in pin curls!).
Channeling Janet’s That’s The Way Love Goes curls (notice Fly Girl JLo in the video).
Plus, such a strong silhouette needed some volume.
The shoulder pads are built in. I wouldn’t think of removing them.
