PART 4/5  : Songs 2009 Brought Me

We made it through!
6 weeks of non-stop Christmas music in every public place.
A sweet ten and a half months until the onslaught begins again.
Whew!
Really, if it were only two weeks, I’d be happily humming along to baby jesus and santa tunes with the rest of the joyous masses.
But, it’s sorta like overplaying that great Kid Cudi song or the Taylor Swift hit.
OVERKILL nullifies its innocent goodness.


But I digress…back to business :
“Acrobat” by MAXIMO PARK.
This song re-found me this year.
My cousin does the occasional CD exchange.
I was re-listening to Kelly’s mix from 2007-ish.
This song connected with me big time last february and remained a staple all year.
I haven’t even had tumultuous relationship issues to justify my attachment, but still it resonates with me.
