We start with a thrifted, navy boatneck sweater.
A couple of bucks & a current favorite.
The sleeves are subtle-y batwing-ed.
(I like to say fake “-ed” words in a
Mike-Meyers-performing-beat-poetry-in-So-I-Married-An-Axe-Murderer-
kind of way.)
Jeans & Sesto Meucci loafers : Buffalo + thrifted.
Next is a coat I grabbed a few months ago.
A good weight for Dallas.
Deep pockets.
Wasn’t into the plastic, orange buttons
so grabbed some new ones at Joanns.
Plus a little spark on the collar :
This hand painted button is from a vintage YSL suit I found recently for $7.99 (!).
The jacket was slightly damaged, so I scavenged the 4 buttons
and sent the perf condition skirt to my skinniest friend on the East Coast.
I should have photographed the skirt to show.
It is beautiful with 4 of these buttons on it, as well as a lone stylin’ angled pocket.
sigh.
