Some randoms…
I will need a new Macbook soon.
My most recent Genius told me, on average, people replace them every two years.
Mine is 3+. Will it make it to 4?
PROB#1 whiney, but that’s one of it’s loving characteristics since birth (eye roll)
PROB#2 sometimes doesn’t wake from sleep when opened
PROB#3 airport signal pick up weaker and weaker everyday
PROB#4 sleep light OUT
PROB#5 frayed power cord. LIVE WIRE! (new one on way, $20. thanks ebay)
When I do get a new one, it will be my 4th. Only the original hard core clamshell still fires up and works normally. Though, the design and interface seem 30 years old, rather than 10.
I am not accustomed to spending big money on fashion.
I tried these on in chocolate at Nordstroms recently during a sale ($189/sale ha!)
They are made with Nike Air “technology”.
Soooooo comfy. And practical. And sexy. And classy.
But even at the $189 sale from $300, too much for me.
Then I saw them online in this “Estate Blue” for $149.
Still too much, but oh! that blue!!!
The next day, as I was actually considering it, they were gone in my size.
I wince a little at the loss of a solid shoe I probably would have worn a lot.
oh well. maybe they will turn up on ebay or at buffalo.
