a makeover.
Today was spent with my friend Bryony.
She is 24 and has 3 young kids.
All of them are boys, she grew up with two older brothers and then there’s the hubby.
At dinner about a month ago she proclaimed :
“I don’t know how to be girlie at all right now!!”
So, her two oldest kids and husband went off for a fishing trip this week
and we took the opportunity to spend some quality time at Buffalo Exchange
where I had power to “yay” or “nay” as she tried on.
A good time for all! haha.
She appreciated the shake up and of course, playing stylist was fun.
She tried on over 50 items and came away with
3 dresses + 3 shirts + 2 pairs of shoes for $125.
nice!
Here’s a before and after.
The dress was 10.50 and the shoes were $10. hell yeah!
What a good time.
I’ve been getting more into my wardrobe lately.
After 9 years on the west coast where a hoodie and jeans is acceptable in any environment, it’s been nice to put together outfits and wear high heels.
Vera Wang top (BUFFALO)
Betsy Johnson skirt (NYU GRADUATION…’98 ya’ll)
BCBG shoes (thanks again BUFFALO)
Purse…(i love u BUFF!)
Belt came with something from forever 21 and headband is the belt that came with Vera top. It has sequins, but you can’t see them because I have no bright light in my loft at night. mmmm dim.
later.
