thrifted vintage Country Pacer faux mink fur coat / $25
I actually had a full punch card ($10 off) making this $15.
Beautiful condition.
At first, I thought it didn’t fit me.
This morning when it was 27°, I decided it did.
So warm.
Surprisingly warm.
I struggle with fur.
As I stand up there with leather boots on my feet.
Even though this is fake fur and recycled (vintage), I feel guilt wearing a pelt as fashion.
Yet here I am in this coat. Enjoying its warmth and luxury.
The way animals are farmed currently is not acceptable to me and I don’t want to represent support for the industry.
In a really perfect world : I wish for environmentally sound, synthetic products to replace most animal products.
In the real world : I just hope, in my lifetime, that animals we use as product don’t have to live with suffering and pain.
