jane his wife
These shoes.
$9.99 thrift w. a $5 coupon = $5.
So comfy. I mean…unbelievably comfortable.
They add some sass & sauce to pretty much every dress, jean and skirt in my closet.
The brand is Michelle D.
Really cheap on ebay, etc. so I’m guessing a Kmart/Ross/Target brand or something like that…??
They pretty much kick all my other heels’ azzes at the moment. ...

robert, you romantic!
Robert Rodriguez silk skirt thrifted for $5.99.
100% delicate, vintage-style silk.
Even the lining!
Love how the edges are hemmed/sealed :
And a pretty li’l applique.
O’ Robert…you romantic, you!!
Jumping kitty cats by Sharon Montrose.
Possibly the most fantastic animal photos I’ve seen…

I got this Custo Barcelona dress at Buffalo Exchange for (I believe) $26.50.
The 3 converging fabrics are all so different.
A little Rio sexy stretch up the sides.
Madrid Fashionista silk on front and back.
With a rim of Portland grunge.
Apparently mixing up vibrant, differently textured textiles is Custo Barcelona’s thing.
I’ve worn it before as a dress, but wanted to go...

aw kate u so sweet
The other dress I fell victim to at Neiman’s during the employee sale.
A sweet little Kate Spade with pockets!
Barely off white taffeta with navy, velvet, digital-drip flowers.
I love how the zipper pull has a dangle like the one on the Bottega bag I am carrying…secret details! ($2.99 Bottega Veneta find if you missed it)
Half way through the day I realized these little snap...
good evening party people
I got the filters up and running today.
Now you can click on these things in the sidebar
to get filtered results.
Let me know if you think of any other filters that would be useful/fun/interesting/whatever.
Tomorrow : taffeta. velvet. a dangle.

my revelate
I’ve been waiting to come across some Oscar.
I NEVER see it.
Then this bright late 80s/early 90s number jumped out to me.
Miss O by Oscar de la Renta
“By 1985, de la Renta’s fashion business was worth $250 million. Part of the increase came from the success of new product lines.
He added more day wear and ready-to-wear items as well as a cheaper Miss O line to appeal to...

givenchy o givenchy
Soooooo I find this super sick pair of pants (while thrifting NATCH).
They hadn’t been put on the correct rack, yet, and were just a hangin’ about for filing.
Fabric caught my eye immediately and I snatched them up.
Then saw what they were : MINT condish late 60s/early 70s Givenchy pants
and proceeded to pray & beg the gods to let them fit me.
They are on point for the...

the new style
I’ve worn this sweater and this skirt before.
But not tooogeeether.
Went with the miami vice color scheme again, as you can see.
This is a solid l’il spring outfit in my world.
Everything but the shoes is from various thrifts.
You may have noticed a little rearrangement here today.
I’m making some filters - on the left, you’ve got vintage, designer and fave art...

“$15 for 5 dresses” batch : DRESS 2
Or ‘EXHIBIT B’ if consistency’s your bag.
So this dress was $2.99 + 50% off = $1.50
Ya kidding me?
Herman Marcus.
Gotta be related, right?
The whole dress is sheer, navy softness.
On a fancier version of this dress the buttons would actually button.
But I’m not complaining!!

trevor! nancy! party's by the pool!
A really swanky pool.
Late 60s/Early 70s (Lisa?!) gorgeous vintage dress from Neiman-Marcus.
With a dash and everything.
50% off apparel sale = $4 big ones.
Last Friday on my lunch break I thrifted 5 dresses for $15 total.
And I think 4 of the dresses could be from the same closet.
Consider this exhibit A.
A bit of water damage at the hem (party by the pool, see).
I’ll look...
