Over the weekend at Ranger’s stadium,
I noticed the “banana” + “cherry” + “lemon” syrup drained over my shaved ice
was the same palette as this outfit.
whaddya know? Last time I showed this dress on Those Tricks,
it went like this :
The cinched, wider waist provided by the black belt is definitely preferable to me.

Just love the buttons, shape and where the pockets sit.
I feel like it’s a youthful skirt, without looking too young.

When I saw Megan wearing this on Transmission Me, I proposed a trade.
A package from Baltimore showed up soon after carrying
this beautiful, vintage cotton dress.
Initially when tried on, the fit seemed a little toooo exact,
i.e. the zipper kept getting stuck at the waist.
It was sticking off of me, too, though - so I hung it in the closet.

Snagged for just $.99,
I couldn’t wait to wear this vintage top.

I picked up this Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent shrug
at consignment shop Clotheshorse Anonymous for about $40.
This shrug adds sparkle to even the most ordinary outfit.
Love!
Thousands of sequins sewn not only all over the exterior,
but also inside the front flaps.
So if the edges flip-flop around, the shine maintains.

Yesterday I purchased a 35th bday present to myself : A plane ticket to Sao Paolo!
My cousin, Molly, has been living there about a year with her fiance,
who is Brazilian.
It’ll be Sao Paolo for a few days, then Rio for the weekend.
I’ll arrive in Brazil Thanksgiving morning, which is also my birthday.
Molly says the women are uber stylish and the men handsome & suave....

First we have this gorgeous vintage necklace.
I’m not sure what the shell-like charms are, but they are lovely.
And the chain has a really cool sliding clasp mechanism
to easily adjust the length.
I can’t remember how much the necklace was - about $7-ish?
Next up : a rad bag.

I ventured out to another trade-style store here called Plato’s Closet.
Tagline on the wall said something about teens and twenty-somethings.
Which meant a less discriminating selection (than Buffalo Exchange)
and played-too-loud emo music, but also - even LOWER prices than Buffalo.
