rabbit hole
If you stare long enough, you will see a pirate ship…
Psyche!
Mesmerizing Fabric, yah?
And it really moves.
Flouncy!
Another Matruska from back in the day.
Handmade. Very simply assembled. No tag.
Everyday couture?

Silk Dress from Buffalo Exchange in Dallas : $12.00
I never really wore silk before my inner fashionista came alive.
What a soft, light, summery fabric!
Accessorized with grey.
My two favorite clothing colors.
Together at last.

votivo coma
So, this one time.
I got a Votivo candle.
And that was that.
They rule.
Natural, delicate scents that fill up a room quickly (lots of burn time/they last forever).
Worth every (s)cent (get it) but a bit pricey ($25/ea).
Last year I bought one on ebay from Darla @ Cordially Yourz.
The package was delivered, but someone swiped it. [thumbs down]
Darla was sweetly sympathetic and when I...

wood n' silk
Hey, what’s up?
I’m just hanging out with my buddy, Woody.
We get along great because we both like yoga and hemp clothing!
haha
I’ve shown this dress before.
But I don’t think I detailed its goodness thoroughly.
It is a blend of hemp and silk that is velvet-y smooth softness which just drapes the bod.
yum!
A great find at Buffalo Exchange. (Still had all tags...

Admiration is felt for this dress because :
[one] It is Old freakin’ Navy (what the?!)
[two] The pleats stay perfect through washes
[three] Fabric = comfy, nice weight cotton
[four] It’s grey - my favorite!
See more of this dress @ the last time it was posted HERE.

raider attack!
Vintage Neiman Marcus silk skirt and blouse.
One of the more spirited label names I’ve come across.
D-D-Dominick!
love it.
I picked up the set for just $4.99.
The print looks like a take on cylon raiders!
haha
Very Battlestar.
Spacecraft AND pockets!
Great piece.
Shoes, bag and belt also thrifted/second hand. 100% Resale!
Total cost = approx $35

new style best quality
I’ve been waiting a while for this outfit to come together.
Loved wearing this ensemble.
I thrifted the cropped, vintage, brown sweater for $1.99,
but every time I tried to wear it,
waists were just not high enough.
Knowing the time would come, it laid in wait.
Luckily, I came across this delightful Isda & Co skirt at Thrifttown a few weeks ago.
Still dangling its $152 price...

this dress kicks ass and takes names
A dress that packs so much action,
hair and lipstick could not be added to distract.
Ruffles for days!
Purchased at Buffalo Exchange in Dallas for a mere $8.50,
this Forever 21 dress really fluffs my feathers!
I feel so feminine in it.
The red is just joyous.
Hurrah!
Did you notice how the buttons don’t go all the way to the bottom?
Definitely NSFW.
Determined to wear it the...

cleanse follow up
You may or may not have noticed the post
where I mentioned the two week cleanse I did recently.
I wanted to follow up on it, because it really affected my diet.
While on the cleanse, you are supposed to drink lots of water
and try to stick to eating easily digestible fruits, vegetables, nuts and beans.
I couldn’t go 100% for the two weeks,
but did really great the first week and...

two times a lady?
I gave my Chivalry Dress another whirl.
Buuuuut I didn’t get to fully test its powers since I only wore it to work & the gym. However.
When walking into Equinox,
the guy in front of me stopped and held it open
instead of just half assed not letting it slam behind him.
And I was met with *sparklier* smiles from men and women.
Also wearing thrifted vintage Bottega Veneta purse...

OMG! LOLZ. IKR?
I swear on the grave of Spencer and Heidi’s marriage,
shock was felt when I saw this dress is a Lauren “LC” Conrad product.
Purchased at Buffalo Exchange for $27.50.
Well well well.
The dress is almost perfect.
Print : beautiful - what colors.
Cut : Flattering, comfortable.
Hem : Creatively sewn slight bubble
Soft soft fabric.
Lined! Pockets! Summer-y!...

bleu blue blu
I bought this l’il (okay, big!) plastic necklace at a thrift shop thinking
it’d look cool with an all black outfit.
Enter a new styling of the Stealing Stephanie dress.
Of course, the necklace does pop!
And I did turquoise nails again, to match,
BUT
I don’t think I’m a big chunky necklace kind of woman right now.
Simplicity and subtlety just feels more natural....
