swaaag from Girls Night Out
Yesterday I went to an event called Girl’s Night Out.
A bunch of vendors set up wares, Midori and Skyy give out free cocktails and then there is the “famous Shecky’s goodie bag!” My swag includes : Noxema razor, romance novel, body shop samples, Lindt chocolate bars, hair conditioner, Neutrogena lipstick, La Croix drink, Veggie Stix, Goody hair bands, Kotex...

This is It!
Tonight I am going to the 11pm opening of THIS IS IT! at the Inwood Theater.
I am hoping to see some thriller jackets and sparkly gloves!!
Super excited to see this film.
“It’s only in theaters for 2 weeks,” so if you want to see it on the big screen……..

L.Y.M.I.
One of my oldest friends, Lydia, is in Belgium for a year
with her boyfriend while he completes an architecture fellowship.
Going to such a far away place is exciting,
but one can also get homesick and lonely.
So! I gave her a parcel of flat, tiny packages (easy for travel)
with the instruction to open one when she needs inspiration or a reminder of home.
Each mini-package is wrapped...
one sleeve - just say no!
I was telling my friend, Marianne, about the one-sleeve trend.
“You mean, one side draped?” NO.
“You mean off-the-shoulder?” NO.
“You mean one shorter than the other?” NO! I mean one sleeve.
On Project Runway this would be ripped apart and they would probably ask if the designer simply did not have time to sew the other sleeve on.
Hopefully, the answer...
